What to include

To be effective under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), your notice must include:

  1. An electronic or physical signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. A description of the material you claim is infringing and a URL or other reasonably sufficient location.
  4. Your contact information: name, address, phone number, and email.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe in good faith that it was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address with the elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3).

Repeat infringers

We disable accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion.

Misrepresentations in a DMCA notice may subject you to liability for damages.
