Community Guidelines
Strangr is a small, voice-first community. Most conversations are friendly. The rules below exist so the few people who would ruin the experience don't.
Be a decent human
- Treat others the way you'd want to be treated.
- If the conversation isn't for you, just skip. No need to be rude.
- Don't assume gender, age, ethnicity, or beliefs from a voice.
Zero tolerance
The following will result in an immediate permanent ban and, where applicable, a report to authorities:
- Any sexual content involving anyone under 18.
- Sexual harassment, especially toward people who indicate they're minors.
- Threats of violence, terrorism, or organized hate.
- Coordinated harassment campaigns.
- Doxxing or sharing private information about other users.
- Promoting self-harm or suicide.
Not allowed
- Hate speech targeting protected groups.
- Slurs, demeaning language, or persistent insults.
- Sharing sexually explicit voice content with strangers who didn't consent to it.
- Selling, promoting, or soliciting illegal goods or services.
- Advertising, MLM pitches, OnlyFans / cam-site promotion, or scams.
- Impersonating real people.
- Using bots or scripted accounts.
- Sharing or asking for personal contact info from someone who doesn't want to give it.
Respect consent
Don't record other users without their explicit, audible consent. Asking is part of the conversation. If they say no, the answer is no.
Age requirement
Strangr is restricted to users 18 and older. The site is not intended for or directed at anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has accessed the Service, please email agitatedchebyshev5@freethecookies.com and we will remove the account immediately.
How enforcement works
- Text messages with slurs or explicit content are blocked at send time.
- Reports raise a user's flag count. Three valid reports within 24 hours triggers an automatic 24-hour timeout; five triggers a 7-day ban.
- Severe violations bypass the threshold and result in immediate permanent bans.
- Appeals: if you believe a ban was a mistake, email agitatedchebyshev5@freethecookies.com with details.
Report
Use the "Report" button in any call or room. For urgent issues involving illegal content, email agitatedchebyshev5@freethecookies.com directly.
